The 5th Conference on Business, Social Sciences and Technology (CoNeSciNTech) 2025
Higher education as one of the agents of academic or non-academic research implementation is able to contribute to research results that are relevant and useful for the survival of society. The results of the research must be disseminated or announced to the public so that they can be better understood and developed to improve the quality of life. Batam International University (UIB) as one of the private universities in the Riau Islands captured this need and realized it in the activities of the 5th International Conference on Business, Social Sciences and Technology (5th CoNeScINTech) in 2025. This International Conference carries the theme "Digital Transformation for Sustainable Development: Challenges and Innovation in Social, Economic, and Technological Fields". Participants in this International Conference activity are lecturers and students as well as domestic and foreign partners. Through this activity the implementers of research to the community can share knowledge and motivation in implementing sustainable research activities.
LPPM UIB as the Co-Host of the activity “The 5th Conference on Business, Social Sciences and Technology (CoNeScINTech) 2025” collaborates with foreign university partners, namely Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka in organizing these activities. Currently, the obligation to publish research results is not only on lecturers, but students are also required to gain research experience and also dissemination, therefore this international conference activity may be dominated by students as participants. However, this does not reduce the quality of this international conference, because the blind review process is still carried out according to the procedure. LPPM will publish selected articles in research journals in the UIB Open Journal System (OJS). In this activity, Instagram poster festival exhibition activities were also carried out for all registered presenters and live events (Youtube / Zoom Meeting) were displayed live.
